How to Download Custom Content for Sims 4

Sims 4 is so much more fun with custom content! The awesome thing about customizing your game is that it is so easy, and free! To download custom content/ mods into your Sims 4 game, all you have to do is:
1. Go into Sims 4 game.
2. Click on 3 dots on top right hand corner aka "Options Menu," then click "Game Options".
3. Go down to "Other" and check the boxes to allow mods & script mods.
4. Go to http://thesimsresource,com or other mod website & download the mod you want.
**personally, I trust TSR because so many people use it & if there is an issue with anything, it will be reported and removed before it has a chance to negatively impact your game. So far, I have not had any issues with this site, but I would suggest to always be aware of potential viruses**
5. Open 2 file explorers
6. In one file explorer, find the downloaded mod file under "Downloads"
7. In the second file explorer: open Documents> Electronic Arts > Sims 4, then locate Mods folder
8. Drag the new mod file from Downloads to the Mods folder
10. Open them up in Create a Sim & enjoy!
